European Roulette

European Roulette

There are many different ways of placing roulette bets. Each bet covers a set of different numbers according to a different distribution, as is shown in the “Winnings Table” section (below). Roulette with one zero – one sole zero – has better odds for winning than American roulette with both single and double zero.

Each player must firstly chose the amount that he wishes to bet and then place his gaming stakes on the desired square(s). After having placed his bets, the player must click on “play” so that the croupier can spin the roulette wheel. Once the ball has ceased moving, the croupier announces the number where it stops and, in case of a win, the croupier announces the sum won by the player.

Straight up
You can bet on any number, including 0, by placing the chip on a number.

Split Bet
You can bet on two numbers by placing the chip on the line which separates the two numbers.

Street Bet
You can bet on three numbers by placing a chip on the roulette table’s lefthand inside border line which is next to a row corresponding to the three numbers.

Corner bet
You can bet on four numbers by placing the chips on the corner where four numbers meet.

Four bet
You can bet on the numbers 0,1,2 and/or 3 by placing your chips on the lefthand inside border line between 0 and 1.

Six Line bet
You can bet on two street bets (that is to say, the six different numbers in two three number rows), by placing your chip on the lefthand inside border line where the line dividing the two rows meets it.

Column bet
There are three boxes marked “2 to 1” at the bottom of the columns of numbers. You can bet on all these numbers by placing your chip in one of these boxes. If one of the numbers in your column comes up, your are payed at 2 to 1; 0 is a losing number.

Dozen bets
You can bet on a group of twelve numbers by placing your chip in one of the three boxes marked “1st 12” (P 12), “2nd 12” (M 12) or “3rd 12” (D 12) If one of your 12 numbers comes up you are paid at 2 to 1; 0 is a losing number.

Red/Black, Even/Odd, High/Low bets
You can place a bet in one of the boxes on the left, along the side of the table which covers half of the numbers on the roulette table (with the exception of zero). Each box covers 18 numbers. You win the same money (1 to 1) on each of these bets; 0 is a losing number.
