Three large casino groups decided to come together to launch a cumulative jackpot that is out of the ordinary: the “Magic Casino Jackpot”. Before the “Magic Casino Jackpot” came into being there was a test carried out during 2008. Three casinos on the Cote de Nacre belonging to three different groups were connected: the Ouistreham (Barriere group), the Saint-Aubin-sur- Mer casino (Joagroupe) and the Luc- sur -Mer casino (Tranchant group). The test was a real success in terms of technical ability and reliability of the technical procedure. After these satisfactory results the “Magic Casino Jackpot” was expanded to all of the 100casinos of the groups participating in this unique in the world cumulative jackpot.

It could be that other casinos will join the ranks of the casinos participating in this event. The casinos offering the “Magic Casino Jackpot” will be recognisable by a “Magic Casino Jackpot” signage on the facade and the interconnected slot machines will be easily identified by the “Magic Casino Jackpot” specific colours. Each casino will have a minimum of two one armed bandits connected to the network and a maximum of eight for the large casinos. The starting bet to win the cumulative jackpot is 1.5 euros and the potential winnings are enormous!

And the Partouche group in this affair?
This intercasino cumulative jackpot is a first in France although there is already a cumulative jackpot : the “Partouche Megapot”. In fact in December 2008, the Partouche group launched the “Partouche Megapot” which links 231 slot machines only in the Partouche group casinos. On the other hand, the “Magic Casino Jackpot” is a multisite and “multigroup” cumulative jackpot because it's just as possible to win the cumulative jackpot either in a Barriere, Tranchant, Joacasinos, Emeraude or another casino belonging to the group. Besides,the cumulative jackpot pot can be several million euros because the Partouche group had three happy winners who became euro millionaires...and this with 231 linked slot machines. One can just imagine with 100 interconnected  casinos offering 331 slot machines...the chances of winning more are even greater.
