This time, the hold up took place yesterday in Namur casino but there was no violence involved in this armed robbery which took place at the speed of sound. In fact, Namur casino was the setting for a hold up worthy of Hollywood films such as « Ocean's Eleven » in which four men heavily armed with Kalashnikovs burst into the casino. The criminals arrived at the casino in balaclavas holding Russian military guns and got away with a large amount not revealed by the management of Namur casino. The robbery lasted a maximum of three minutes and even the clients present in the gaming rooms saw nothing...which proves the speed and professionalism of the gang.

In Belgium, casinos are victims of hold ups and we wrote an article on a particularly violent hold up which also took place in a Belgian casino at the end of July 2009. The money taken in every day in casinos either in France, Belgium, Macao or Las Vegas give bad ideas to criminals who use these places as their favourites to make themselves easy money not by playing the slot machines or a table game but by robbing large sums of money at gun point. Although there haven't been any deaths up to the present, the casinos are put out by these heavily armed gangs of which certain members are involved in serious crime.

These commando operations rob large amounts of money and outsmart the security services both  human and video surveillance. But playing this game, is a little like playing roulette... russian this time.
